If you're working with 1967-69 tie rod dust seals, you'll encounter two distinct versions. The C6OZ-3332 is made for original tie rod ends and includes a metal ring for secure pressing. The C6OZ-3332-R, while visually similar, doesn't have this metal ring and is specifically for replacement tie rod ends.

This seal has the proper metal base ring with molded rubber boot, Made from the original Ford blueprints, As these have the metal base ring they will only fit original or reproduction tie rods that are machined to accept the metal ring.
