1960-1979 Ford & Mercury HumpHugger Console
The 1960-1979 Ford & Mercury HumpHugger rests perfectly between factory bucket seats using a contoured bottom to securely rest on the transmission tunnel (the “Hump”). In addition, velcro strips installed on the bottom of the console provide increased stability.
The exceptional quality and convenient features built in to this console will bring a whole new dimension to your cruising life style. Standard features include a padded armrest, ergonomically designed for maximum support and comfort, coupled with an under-lid storage compartment. Most importantly two drink holders are included.
Because there are subtle changes in the vehicle support system between a coupe and convertible, we offer two versions of this console. One specifically designed for coupe & fastback Mustangs (or sedan for other vehicles) and another for convertibles. Make sure to get the right version for your car (we carry both).
This console will fit several other Ford & Mercury vehicles besides Mustangs from 1960 to 1979. Please refer to the fitment below to see specific models and years.
Important notes:
- This console will NOT work with a factory console installed. You will need the Saddle console. Which has the same features but is designed to go over the factory console.
- Another important note: Not all of these colors are factory correct for every year, but these fit all 64-73 Mustangs along with various other Ford/Mercury vehicles, so we have most colors listed.
- Out of stock consoles may take 6-8 weeks to ship.
