1964 1/2 - 1967 Mustang complete power steering conversion kit. Fits 64-67 Mustangs with manual steering and 200/250 I-6 with 1" sector shaft. Includes all necessary components for conversion.
Includes:
- Power steering pump
- Power steering box

- Steering column shaft
Borgeson now offers an integral power steering conversion for your 1964-1967 Classic Mustang. The Borgeson conversion box is a new modern integral power steering gearbox. The Borgeson integral power steering gearbox provides true modern power steering feel, feedback and a sporty 14:1 ratio. Borgeson has manufactured this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower.
Each kit includes a 3 year manufacturer warranty on the steering box.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Will not fit 1967 Mustangs with 1 1/8" sector shaft. Use 67-70 Borgeson kits 999021, 999024, 999027, or 999025 along with replacement shaft 990040. Measure your pitman arm shaft with arm still installed and measure between pitman arm and box to see if 1" or 1 1/8" (calipers recommended).Includes:

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Will not fit with factory Z-Bar clutch linkage. Use Z-Bar 990051 / KY Mustang # 6964 (64-66 only).
- Requires 2 or 3 groove crank pulley.
- Trimming of the outer column tube is required for clearance of the rag joint.
