Includes metal retainer plate. Copied from the original Cobra version that has 4 stitch lines instead of the 2 stitch lines that Ford used on the vinyl standard boots. Suggest the purchase of a new bezel when replacing your shift boot. Originals were melted together and without a new bezel the boots can not be attached.
