Electric Power Steering Kit for early 67 Mustangs. Purchase with or without a pre-cut & pre-installed column in various finishes. If buying without a column, you must cut your original or existing steering column to install. Pre-cut columns are made by Ididit and will accept an original steering wheel.

HOW IT WORKS:
The computer measures the amount of effort on the steering wheel and amplifies it with the aid of the electric motor. A potentiometer gives you control over the amount of assistance provided, allowing you to fine tune your EPAS experience. For example, you can have maximum power assist while on a parking lot, and less on the highway. The system is only active while turning.

SYSTEM CAN BE ADAPTED TO A RACK OR STEERING BOX:
However, for Steering Rack equipped vehicles you will need additional linkages.
