This monte carlo bar was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. This extra support also helps prevent shock tower stress cracks.
See Part # 16479 for the 2 extra bolts & nuts needed to mount the monte carlo bar. The rest is mounted with the outer shock tower bolts & nuts (part # 315).
