For 6-bolt flywheel; Bellhousing separator plate is sandwiched between the engine and transmission bellhousing
Provides support to the drivetrain and allows the starter to be properly indexed and shimmed for operation
Can be retrofit onto classic 65-73 Mustangs if converting to a 5.0/5.8 V8 and T5 transmission with late-model bellhousing
Yellow zinc plated to prevent corrosion
