California Pony Cars 1965-1966 Mustang T5 5-Speed Transmission Crossmember Bar with Parking Brake Bracket, This T5 transmission crossmember bar make it easy to install the very popular World Class, BorgWarner 5-speed manual transmission or the newer TREMEC (P/N 1352-000-251) 5-speed manual overdrive transmission to your 1964-1966 Classic Mustang. Our Heavy Duty 1965-1966 Mustang T5 Transmission Crossmember Bar with Parking Brake Bracket is made from from .090 wall tubular steel and TIG welded to provide maximum strength for performance driving and also doubles as a sub-frame stiffener for better handling. This T5 5-speed conversion will improve the the gas mileage while giving you a reliable comfortable drive.

Note: California Pony Cars, recommends using a 1983-1993 T-5 World Class BorgWarner Transmission. 1994-up T5 Transmissions have a longer input shaft that will not work without switching out the input shaft to the earlier style shaft.

*The holes on the crossmember bar U-brackets may require elongating to fit since the frame channel on these cars are over 50 yrs old, they tend to tweak.
