Exhaust Manifolds 428 Cobra Jet For Use Without Spacer Pair Late, 1969 - 1970 Mustang, Pair
Late style for use without spacer.
Exact reproduction of Ford's free-flowing, high-performance cast-iron exhaust manifolds used on the 428 Cobra Jet, 428 Super Cobra Jet, and GT500 Shelby's. Concours correct with original Ford logo and part numbers cast into the manifolds. These manifolds are available in both early and late versions. The earlier version manifold has the correct spacer on the right side while the later version manifold does not. Installs easily and eliminates clearance issues compared to headers. Compatible with factory exhaust systems and H-pipes. Spacer also available separately.
Concours correct with original Ford logo and part numbers cast into the manifolds
Cast from premium ductile iron
Factory matching intake ports featuring 2.25-inch exhaust ports
Exhaust flange studs and nuts included

FITMENT:
- Late 1969 - 1970 Mustang 428 CJ/SCJ for use without spacer
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE: This is correct for all 1970 and some very late 1969 428 Cobra Jet Mustangs, Cougars and Fairlane's. At the end of 1969 Ford eliminated the passenger side spacer and machined manifold differently which requires a different H pipe as well than early version. For these manifolds order D0ZZ-5246-D for the H-Pipe. Note that 1970 Shelby's were carry over 1969 so most will probably use early 1969 version. These will only fit 16 bolt 428 Cobra Jets Heads.
