IMPORTANT: We HIGHLY recommend picking up a power relay kit part # 22734 as the Pertronix Ignitor is a 12 volt device that must be powered during crank and run. Many installers mistake the coil positive for a 12 volt power source however there is a resistor wire that drops the voltage here to less than 9 volts which will cause rough running or failure.
The Ignitor II provides increased starting voltage with adaptive dwell control. Ignitor Module Kits are extremely easy to install and fit into your original distributor to maintain your stock look. No additional ignition box is required keeping a clean look under the hood.
