1965-UP MUSTANG AOD KICKDOWN CABLE CARBURATED ONLY
This cut-to-fit 1965-1970 Ford AOD transmission kickdown cable is used to actuate the Throttle Valve (T.V) and needed to shift the transmission to a higher gear automatically within the transmission when the engine is revved or otherwise accelerated. A kickdown cable comes installed standard on later model vehicles (1980's-1990's) but this 1965-1970 Ford AOD Transmission Kickdown cable is used when upgrading your carbureted classic 1965-1970 Mustang, Falcon or Cougar to the popular Ford AOD automatic overdrive transmission.
