This stamped steel brace mounts on the sides of the trunk to support the bumper. The RH side bracket features a unique guard that protects the tail light housing from the spare tire. This is a more correct 1969 style bracket on the RH side. 70's usually used two of the braces without the guard such as our part # 582 (x2). Both types can work for either car however.
The braces are painted black for corrosion protection.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Welding required for installation.
