Finally a fast easy way to hook up the Pertronix Ignitor! The Pertronix Ignitor is a 12 volt device that must be powered during crank and run. Many installers mistake the coil positive for a 12 volt power source however there is a resistor wire that drops the voltage here to less than 9 volts. This is the major cause of out right failure as well as rough running and stalling. Using this power relay kit solves this problem providing full power to the Ignitor.

The Ignition Power Relay installs next to the starter solenoid with a supplied self-drilling, self tapping screw. Each wire is the right length and comes with the correctly sized terminal already Installed. The black ground wire goes under the relay mounting screw. Then put the yellow wire on the battery side of the solenoid, the blue wire one the I terminal (special thin nut is supplied if you have a push on style connector on the stud). The red wire goes to the Ignitor, all you need to do is to crimp the supplied bullet connector to the end of the red Ignitor wire and plug it in.

The relay is rated for 30 amps of current so it can be used for other devices that require power during both cranking & running. A 7 amp fuse is included.
